Amr boasts over 30 years of diverse industry experience. As a co-founder of 'Modern Bakeries Company, Rich Bake,' he
embarked on a mission to establish Egypt's first industrial bakery. During his remarkable 25-year tenure as the company's CEO,
Amr played a pivotal role in its transformation into an industry leader.
Under Amr's leadership, Modern Bakeries expanded its reach and impact, growing to a workforce of approximately 3,000
dedicated employees. Thanks to his strategic vision and relentless pursuit of excellence, the company achieved an unparalleled
70% market share, solidifying its position as an undisputed leader in the industry.
Recognizing the need to pass the executive torch to a new team, Amr transitioned from his role as CEO, allowing him to focus
more on his passion for executive mentorship, coaching, and consultancy. Leveraging his accumulated wealth of experience and
an extensive network, Amr has been an invaluable mentor with Endeavor since 2009, providing guidance to over 50
entrepreneurs and CEOs across diverse sectors, many of whom have since achieved market leadership themselves. In
recognition of his outstanding contributions, Amr was honored as one of Endeavor's top mentors in 2019.
He has also collaborated extensively on projects involving Assessment Centers and Coaching Sessions for esteemed
organizations such as Arab Investment Bank, Banque Misr, Orange, and Orascom Holding, spanning different hierarchical levels.
Amr's credentials are equally impressive as he holds certifications as an EMCC-certified mentor and coach, a Certified Board of
Director and Corporate Governance Professional by the EIOD/IFC, and a River Waves certified assessor.
Amr has a Bachelor of Engineering from Cairo University.
Amr is a Past President and current board member of the Rotary Club of Kasr El-Nile. He has also served as a former board
member of the Giza Chamber of Commerce, the Egyptian Junior Business Association, the Chamber of Food Industries, and the
Chamber of Cereal Industries.
